How Mon Ami Works

Mon Ami depends on women who desire a means of expressing God’s love in an understandable way. Mon Ami says, “I want to give the best to my friend in our time-pressed lives.” With the scheduling of a forty-five minute coffee or tea, we take a sizable, sturdy, decorated basket full of our best china, tea/coffee, tablecloth, napkins, and a delicacy for a beautiful party presentation. In that setting, we can present the Gospel to someone who has not yet received Christ in their life, or to let someone know that they are more than just on our mind – they are in our hearts.

What is needed for effective Mon Ami

Effective love takes planning and dedication. Mon Ami requires some training when it comes to serving and sharing, but don’t let this discourage you! We are not asking you to be an expert in the art of formal tea party etiquette. However, we do want to give our best when we bless our guests. Remember to be respectful when going into someone’s home. You should be like a fragrant candle which leaves a lingering sweet aroma. Stay positive, be encouraging, remember to have fun, after all, it is a party! Be creative – variety is the spice of life!

Packing your basket

Remember that you will pack your basket the opposite of what you will need. For instance, your table cloth will be the last thing you pack as it will be the first thing you lay out.
